Shawn Mendes is the titular reptile in Sony Pictures’ upcoming movie adaptation of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, and within the movie’s first trailer we see the creature attraction the Primm household (led by matriarch Constance Wu) and the remainder of New York City. Check out the clip beneath.

Based on Bernard Waber’s youngsters’s story of the identical title, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile follows Mrs. Primm, Mr. Primm (Scoot McNairy) and her son Josh (Winslow Fegley) as they uncover a crocodile residing within the attic of their new Manhattan residence. While Mrs. Primm and Lyle’s principal enemy, Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman), has a pure worry of the animal, Josh and Lyle’s proprietor, Hector P. Valenti (Javier Bardem), reassures them that he’s a mild large – in spite of everything “he wears a scarf and he can sing.” Enter pop star Mendes as he performs unique music written by the group behind The Greatest Showman.
